Hillsborough County Chapter of The Charmettes, Inc. inducted eight ladies into their chapter. The newly elected members are Michelle Brundidge, Aramis Jackson-Wilds, Kimberly LeGree-Hymes, Earlisha Oates, Sabrina Nelson-Winters, Janelle Scrivens-Ferguson, Paula Shropshire, and Deborah Thomas. They are deeply dedicated to providing and supporting community service projects, as well as health and educational initiatives. Their community project was to provide for the homeless in one of Tampa’s parks where they frequently gather. They made food, water, and hygiene purchases, then separated the items into bags for males and females. They plan to continue this event as a community project.
As candidates, they identified one of the blighted areas that they felt could use some extra attention. Their were more that fifty men and women living in this park and these ladies set out to help. After discussions, the ladies made food, water, and hygiene purchases, then separated the items into bags for males and females. The Fabulous Eight as they call themselves plan continue this event as a community project.
